Gift Aid - What is it?
In April 2000 the Government brought in new legislation regarding individual donations to charities allowing us to claim the tax back on any donations made by a UK taxpayer. Under this scheme, your gift can increase by nearly a third - at no extra cost to youself!

For example:

• If you give £10
• The taxman will add £2.82
• Increasing your gift to a total of £12.82
  

To see the benefits of this scheme, type in your proposed donation into the Gift Aid Calculator, set your basic rate of tax and click CALCULATE.....that is how much extra the taxman will give us on top of your donation!

What you need to do now ...
Please download the Gift Aid Form, print it out, fill in the details, sign and send it with your donation to:

All we need is a single Gift Aid declaration from you. That single declaration form will cover any number of donations, of any size, at any time in the future - we just need to have the form on our file when we receive a gift from you, and we can reclaim the tax.

Cheques or postal orders should be made payable to 'HHKPA'. All donations will be acknowledged as soon as possible by post. For security reasons please do not send cash.

Remember that HHKPA is run by volunteers and ALL of your donation is used for the welfare of kidney patients and their families and carers.
